Last updated 1 September 2026
Nikkah Ready is a Muslim matrimonial matchmaking service operated by Nikkah Ready Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17237164. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Nikkah Ready Ltd, and "you" means the person using the service.
These terms apply to the Nikkah Ready mobile application and to every related service we operate, including our websites. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Nikkah Ready is intended solely for adults aged 18 or over who are seeking marriage. You must be 18 or over to create an account, to appear as a candidate, or to use any part of the service.
Nobody under 18 may use Nikkah Ready under any circumstances, including with the permission of a parent or guardian. Where an account is created by a guardian on behalf of a family member, that family member must also be 18 or over.
You must also have the legal capacity to marry under the law of the country in which you live, and must not be prohibited from using the service under any applicable law.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your account with anyone else, create an account using another person's identity, or create an account on behalf of someone who has not asked you to.
You may hold one membership per account. Information you provide about yourself or about the candidate you represent must be truthful and kept up to date.
Every candidate profile must complete identity verification using a government-issued identity document before the profile becomes visible to other users. Verification is carried out by a third-party verification provider on our behalf.
We use verification to confirm identity and age. Profiles that fail verification are not published. We may re-verify an account at any time, and may suspend an account pending verification where we have reason to doubt the information provided.
Nikkah Ready exists to help adults find a spouse. You agree to use it for that purpose, respectfully and honestly. You must not:
Anything prohibited by our child safety standards below is also prohibited under this section.
Nikkah Ready prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, the sexualisation of minors, and the trafficking of children.
These are the published child safety standards of Nikkah Ready, operated by Nikkah Ready Ltd. They apply to every part of the service, including profile content, photographs, and private messages.
The following will result in immediate and permanent removal from the service:
We review every child safety report we receive. Reports of CSAE are our highest priority and are reviewed ahead of all other moderation work. Where we identify CSAE or obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we:
We do not require a court order before acting on a credible child safety report.
Nikkah Ready complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the United Kingdom and in every market where the service is available, including our obligations under the Online Safety Act 2023. We maintain a process for reporting confirmed CSAM to NCMEC and to the relevant regional authority. We keep these standards under review and update them as our service and the law develop.
We maintain a designated point of contact for child safety matters, including notifications from Google Play, reports from users, and enquiries from regulators and law enforcement. This contact is able to speak to our enforcement and review procedures and to take action where required.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
You can report a profile or a conversation from inside the app. Open the profile or chat, choose Report, select a category, and describe your concern. Reports reach our moderation team directly. You can also contact us by email using the details at the end of these terms.
We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts. We are not obliged to tell you the outcome of a report about another user.
Access to Nikkah Ready requires a paid membership. We offer Essential, Signature and Prestige tiers, each with different limits on bookmarks, likes, and simultaneous active conversations. The limits applying to your tier are shown in the app.
Memberships are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is taken by the relevant app store, not by us, and is governed by that store's terms as well as these. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change; changes will not affect the period you have already paid for.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds are handled by the app store that took your payment, under its refund policy. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through an app store.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, or at delete.nikkahready.com. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — cancel through the app store as well.
You keep ownership of the photographs, profile information, and messages you provide. You grant us a licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.
You must have the right to share anything you upload. Do not upload photographs of other people without their consent. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
We handle your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Nikkah Ready processes sensitive personal information, including information about religious practice and ethnicity, and identity documents. Please read the privacy policy carefully before using the service.
We may suspend or terminate your account, without refund, if you breach these terms, if we reasonably believe your account information is false, if verification fails, or if your conduct puts other users at risk. Breaches of our child safety standards result in immediate permanent termination.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Nikkah Ready is an introduction service. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any introduction will lead to marriage, or that any other user is suitable, sincere, or truthful about themselves.
Identity verification confirms identity and age. It is not a background check, a criminal records check, or a judgement of character. You are responsible for your own decisions about who to communicate with and whether to meet. Take the usual precautions you would take when meeting anyone new.
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for the conduct of other users, whether online or offline, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are significant we will notify you in the app or by email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
